Dr. Alicia Woodworth, Psy.D

Training and Behavioral Health Supervisor

When I joined Compass in 2012, I could not have imagined how much it would impact the course of my life and I continue to be overjoyed and grateful to be part of the Compass team. I have enjoyed playing a part in seeing clients move toward and achieve their dreams. As the Training and Behavioral Health Supervisor, I continue to enjoy working with the individuals and teams who will make positive impacts in their clients’ lives.

I came to Compass in the midst of completing my doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I have brought with me a broad range of mental health and social work experience including clinical therapeutic work, outpatient and inpatient experience, and psychological assessment. I have worked in private clinics, residential substance abuse treatment centers, and college campuses. I also spent time specifically working with students with disabilities in a university setting. All this experience reinforced how much I believe in the power of people to achieve whatever goal they set their mind to, whether that be wellness, education, independence, or something else that will bring value and wholeness to their lives.

While at Compass, I have had the pleasure of working directly with clients in our ILS program for several years. Taking my collective mental health and social work experience, in 2022 I transitioned into our Training and Excellence Department with the goal of building a Behavioral Support program that would support any client and team in need of additional resources and guidance around mental or behavioral health struggles. As the program has continued to expand in its utility for Compass teams across all of our regions, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to continue to grow further in my Compass career and took on the role of Training Supervisor as well. I am looking forward to bringing my experience, skills, and passion to this role and supporting staff across the company to feel comfortable, competent, and confident to provide excellent service to our clients.

Outside of Compass, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and will soon get to enjoy another bundle of joy. While my time for personal hobbies is limited with a young family, I have always has a passion for creative pursuits. I previously played violin semi-professionally, participated in musical theatre, and had a handmade party décor business.
