Regional Manager, Redwood Coast
I joined the Compass team in 2008 as an ILS Life Coach because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and make a positive impact on the clients we serve. I am a passionate leader and I believe in the people I support. I knew that I belonged at Compass when my values, strengths, and skills all matched my job title and responsibilities. I’ve always heard that if you can find a job you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. That was a concept I only dreamed about until I came to Compass. Dreams really do come true.
I have achieved many professional and personal goals since joining the Compass team. I have received several promotions and I also have earned a BA in Organizational Leadership from Simpson University. I’ve had the privilege of assisting hundreds of clients and their staff in not only making personal goals and discovering dreams, but accomplishing more than they thought was possible. It gives me great joy to see the people I support living their dreams and choosing the life they want to live.
Most people know that I get life out of loving and encouraging people. Several years ago, during a Compass retreat, I learned how to incorporate personal attributes when making a personal mission statement. My personal mission statement is: Impacting generations with truth and love, making a difference in every life.
So whether I am working at Compass, pastoring our church with my husband, or staying busy as a wife and mother, my mission statement is always at work. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
