SLS field staff can work with 2-3 clients in a work week. ILS field staff have anywhere between 1-8 clients depending on client needs/schedules. CFS field staff can work with 1-3 clients and families depending on their needs.

Clients have friends and family just like we do. We encourage supports around them to support them whenever possible!

Compass advocates for our clients in all areas of daily living. We support our clients by managing generic resources. IHSS provides funding to pay staff for in home support for our clients.

For SLS, a team of CFs paired under an SLS supervisor operate in a hub to manage client services and staff on each caseloads.  For ILS, clients are assigned an ILS coach who is managed and supervised by an ILS Manager. For CFS, clients are assigned a CFS Specialist who is managed and supervised by a CFS Supervisor.

CFS, ILS and SLS will help with housing searches and applying for and supporting with HUD for housing support.

Supervisors will connect with staff through in person meetings or over the phone.  Communication/management happens through service notes, quarterly trainings, and team meetings.  We utilize an app for tracking clock in and clock out that tracks geo location.

Staff receive one on one training in the office with their CF, ILSF or CFS Supervisor. Afterwards, staff are trained one-on-one with another Life Coach for ILS, CFS Specialist for CFS  or with a Life Guide Pro in SLS along with their respective clients.

We have an emergency response system to find coverage when staff calls off for their shift.

Staff are hired to help advocate and communicate for our clients as needed and to convey information to the admin team for reporting purposes.

Themed retreats, Dances, Town Halls, Virtual gatherings, Spiritual events, Monthly client birthday party celebrations, and Holiday parties are just a few of the events that take place every year.  See our community page for more information.

Staff utilize their own vehicles and are reimbursed for mileage.

SLS is support services in the client home, where we come alongside and walk with our clients to see them become contributing individuals in our community and in society.

ILS equips and trains individuals to succeed and grow in their own capacities.

We have a nurse on staff.  She provides medical support, advocacy, assessment support, training support, medical insight and knowledge and medical home visits.
